hello all , I meet this kind of error for the first time and I tried different tricks ,but nothing seems to work, For example I have a vba macro integrated in a xls file which is opening a doc file. my doc file contains a lot of things: images, tables, etc. if I am removing all the content from doc file and leaving just some text is working.the problem is that the doc file is never open because of this error, and the execution of macro stops at this point.(when the content is untouched) is there any way to treat any special content or this error is happening just because I have too many info inside? malkeinu - Fri Sep 12 13:37:54 EDT 2014 |
Re: microsoft office is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action Hi Based on the topic, this is a question for an other forum i.E. an excel-Forum or else. The only Idea, I can present in this case is: Try to reduce the workload. You can do this step by step. Assume that there is one Doc file, which creates this error. Then split this file and create two files One of them holds the first half of the orignal file and the other the second half. Then try your process using the first file and then try ít again using the second one. If this error occures in the first file and not in the second, you know the all images and tables and so on in the second file are ok. Then split the first file and perform the same experiment again. Re: microsoft office is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action I wonder if your Word file is trying to open up something else, like some other Excel file. |
